My private indoor/outdoor studio in Bunya is calm, warm and completely ready before you arrive. No need to bring anything. I have every prop, wrap and setup prepared so that from the moment you walk in, you can focus on your baby and I can focus on capturing everything.
Sessions are completely baby-led with plenty of time built in for feeds, settling and cuddles. I never rush and I never book sessions back to back. The photos that come from a relaxed, unhurried session are always worth it.
What to Expect at Your Newborn Session
The best time for newborn photography is 7 to 14 days after birth. At this stage babies are still deeply sleepy and beautifully tucked-up, which is when you get those timeless newborn portraits. If you're reading this with a baby already in your arms, get in touch. There's usually a way to make it work.
Sessions run two to three hours and include family photos, individual baby portraits and sibling shots. You'll come back for a private viewing appointment where you pick your favourite images and choose your collection. You never pay for anything until you've seen your photos.
Booking Your Ferny Grove Newborn Session
Ferny Grove is well connected and close, which makes getting to my studio easy. Book during your second trimester to secure your preferred date. Northside spots fill fast between September and February. A $99 Starter Pack locks in your booking and covers your session, all the planning and your first digital file.
