I'm Tarsh. I've been photographing newborns in Brisbane for over 15 years and have worked with more than 1,600 families across the northside. My studio is in Bunya, right on the edge of Ferny Hills, so you're not driving across the city with a brand new baby. You're practically around the corner.
Newborn Photography for Ferny Hills Families
Sessions happen at my private indoor/outdoor studio. It's warm, calm and set up specifically for newborns. There's a comfortable couch for you, a play area if siblings are coming along and everything I need to work with your baby at their pace.
I don't rush. Sessions are completely baby-led. If your little one needs a feed, a cuddle or twenty minutes of settling, we take it. The best photos happen when everyone relaxes, and that starts with giving you both the time and space to do that.
What to Expect at Your Newborn Session
The ideal window for newborn photos is between 7 and 14 days after birth. Babies are still sleepy, curled and gloriously tiny at this stage. That said, I photograph babies of all ages, so even if you're reading this with a two-week-old already in your arms, get in touch.
A typical session runs two to three hours from start to finish. That includes family photos, individual baby portraits and any sibling photos you'd like. You'll see your images at a private viewing appointment where you choose exactly what you love.

The best time to book is during your second trimester. Newborn spots fill quickly, especially between September and February. A $99 Starter Pack secures your date and covers your session, all the planning beforehand and your first digital file. You choose your collection after seeing your images, so you only ever pay for photos you love.
