My private indoor/outdoor studio in Bunya is a calm, warm space designed for newborn sessions that feel easy. There's comfortable seating for you, a play area for older kids and everything set up before you walk through the door.
Sessions follow your baby's lead entirely. Feeds, settling and cuddle breaks are all part of the process. I work slowly and calmly because that's how you get the images that capture those first few days the way they really feel.
What to Expect at Your Newborn Session
The sweet spot for newborn photography is 7 to 14 days after birth, when babies are still wonderfully sleepy and curled up tight. If your baby has already arrived and you haven't booked yet, get in touch and we'll figure out timing together.
Sessions run two to three hours and cover family photos, individual baby portraits and sibling shots. You'll view your images privately and choose exactly what you want before any collection is paid for.
Booking Your Mitchelton Newborn Session
Book during your second trimester if you can. Northside spots fill fast, particularly between September and February. A $99 Starter Pack secures your date and covers your session, all the planning beforehand and your first digital file. Your collection is chosen after your viewing, once you've seen the photos.
