This is a simple guide to help you feel ready, relaxed, and excited for your newborn photoshoot with me, Tarsh.

It is reccomended to include your immediate family, the same ones who’ll be photographed at your newborn session.
You session styling can be as casual as jeans and a white shirt or you can have fun glamming up with the gowns in the wardrobe collection, it's up to you.

-
Come in what makes you feel glamorous and comfy
-
Flat shoes are best!
Partners & Children
Dress them to match your gown style. Soft tones pair with pastels, while navy/maroon looks great with denim or deeper shades. Can’t decide? Bring both options!
Please Avoid:
-
-
Thin stripes or small checks
-
Shirts with text or large graphics
-
Fluoro sneakers, socks, or laces
-

WHAT TO WEAR

MATERNITY GOWNS
There are over 40 gowns in the client wardrobe that you are welcome to choose your favourite two from.
If you prefer your own clothing, thats totally fine as well. Partners should wear a colour similar to your preferred gown, so dark denims with navy or maroon gowns or light denims with pastel gowns.
Shirts or polo shirts on the boys works well with the gowns.
Some gowns have matching dresses in the Childrens' Wardrobe

GETTING
CAMERA READY
Makeup
You don’t need to go full glam, but a slightly bolder daytime look works best for camera. Whether you DIY or go pro, just make sure you feel amazing.
Adults-only tip: Use eye drops just before you arrive for fresh, bright eyes.
Hair
Hair worn down looks best. Avoid slick ponytails or buns. Add a clip or headband if you like, just keep it soft.
Nails
Your hands will definitely feature! Make sure nails are clean and polish is fresh.
Don’t forget to check Dad and the kids too.

PHOTOSHOP AND POSITIVITE VIBES
Photoshop Policy
Let me know if there’s anything you’re worried about. I’ll remove anything temporary (like a scratch or bruise), but keep what’s natural (like freckles, scars or beauty marks).
Keep It Positive
Kids don’t always feel like cooperating, and that’s totally fine. We want children to enjoy this session so that they are excited about returning for the newborn photoshoot in a few weeks time.
Please don’t raise your voice or use threats.
The best smiles are natural, not forced.
After your session, I’ll show you the full range of heirloom products available, frames, wall art, albums, and keepsake boxes.
From luxe gifts to everyday display pieces, there’s something for every home. You’ll be able to see, hold, and imagine your images in real life with plenty of time to discuss and think everything over before your newborn photoshoot.
