How long does a newborn photoshoot take — and what if my baby cries?

A typical Brisbane newborn photography session can take anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 hours to ensure plenty of time for bubs cuddles or feeds (totally normal!).

My studio is set up with one goal in mind: to make this the most relaxed part of your week.

There’s no rushing, no pressure, and definitely no judgment if baby decides to scream like a banshee the moment you arrive.

I’ve photographed hundreds of Brisbane babies (and yes, won multiple awards for it!), so I’ve seen it all. Crying, poonamis, cluster feeds, surprise spews — nothing phases me.

I take a baby-led approach, which means we stop for feeds, cuddles, and resettling whenever we need to. Your baby is in safe, experienced hands, and I’ll guide you through every step so you can just sit back and enjoy the magic.
