Because you're doing the biggest job on earth.
You just grew a person.
You’ve been through the physical, emotional and hormonal Olympics, and now you're somehow expected to feed, soothe, clean and protect this tiny human on two hours of broken sleep and half a Vegemite toast.
Feeling overwhelmed is completely normal. And I know social media makes it look like everyone else is doing newborn life with glowing skin and perfect swaddles, but behind the scenes?
We’re all winging it.
It’s okay if your house is a mess.
It’s okay if you haven’t showered today.
It’s even okay if you’re crying while googling “is it normal to cry this much.”
At Family Photography by Natarsha March, I’ve met so many Brisbane parents who feel this exact same way.
Which is why I’ve created a calm, welcoming space where you can just be.
I’ve been a professional newborn photographer in Brisbane for over 14 years, and I know this season is precious – but it’s also chaotic.
My job is to capture the love in between the mess.
You don’t have to be “together.” You just have to show up
